What Can I Expect?
Whether you are just starting to ask questions about faith, or you are a life-long believer, there is a place for you in our community. Our worship service takes place on Sunday mornings at 10 AM and typically lasts about an hour. All are welcome, there is no dress code, and you are invited to participate as much or as little as you feel comfortable.
A typical worship service consists of prayer, music, readings, and a sermon. We understand that people bring different experiences and perspectives into worship, and we work hard to explain the different elements of our services and why they are important.
If you have kids, we have a nursery available the entire service for kids 0-3 years old. Before the sermon, kids ages 3 through 2nd grade are invited to Kid's Own Worship for an age-appropriate Bible lesson. All of our nursery and Kids Own Worship teachers have had a background check, and we follow Safe Church policies recommended by the CRCNA.
South Grandville Church is an accessible building for those with unique abilities. We have an elevator, a hearing loop, and large print bulletins available for use on Sunday mornings.
